ARE YOU A GOOD FIT FOR THIS RECOVERY - WELLNESS SPECIALIST JOB?

This part-time role works standard business hours, with occasional flexibility required to meet operational needs and event schedules. We also require:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year(s) of experience or personal knowledge of mental illness or other neurological brain disorders
  • Passion to support individuals in reaching their potential and achieving the highest quality of life possible
  • Proficiency with MS Office software applications, Google Drive, social media platforms, and electronic medical records

An AS, BA, or equivalent is preferred in social work, psychology, education, occupational therapy, human services, behavioral health, or a related field.

We are Seacoast Pathways, a member of Granite Pathways, located in the heart of Portsmouth, NH. Our human services nonprofit is a community-based mental health organization that provides peer support services to individuals living with mental illness. We believe in the power of peer support and the importance of building a supportive community. We understand that living with mental illness can be challenging, and we strive to provide a safe and welcoming space where individuals can connect with others who share similar experiences. Our services are designed to promote recovery, build resilience, and enhance the overall quality of life of our clients. In the role of a Recovery - Wellness Specialist, your daily responsibilities will encompass collaborative engagement with our team and active participation in the daily operations of the clubhouse. Other tasks will include orchestrating activities, supporting internal and external employment and educational programs, and leveraging your expertise to guide members in goal development. As a key contributor, you will create an environment where every member feels valued and expected, while actively participating in social and recreational programs.
