A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LICENSED SOCIAL WORKER:
As a Licensed Social Worker at Fedcap Group, you are multifaceted, driven by a commitment to supporting individuals on their journey towards improved mental health and well-being. You start each day by fostering positive behavior among students, offering guidance on coping skills. This foundational work sets the stage for a supportive and empowering environment for all.
Later, you provide essential counseling services to clients, offering a safe space for them to explore their thoughts and feelings. Utilizing our Trauma-Informed Care approach, you conduct one-on-one mental health therapy sessions, tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. In addition to direct client care, you conduct non-stigmatizing screenings to assess mental health and support service needs, crafting personalized treatment. Periodic evaluations ensure our clients stay on track and make meaningful progress toward their goals.
Additionally, you oversee the case management work of our dedicated team of case managers and advocates, ensuring that each client receives comprehensive support and advocacy services. Assessments for mental health, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, domestic violence, and medical needs inform our approach, allowing us to address all facets of the overall well-being of our clients.
Lastly, as you supervise our interns, you are committed to nurturing the next generation of social workers, providing guidance and support as they embark on their professional journey. Together, we work tirelessly to empower individuals and families, creating lasting change one step at a time.
