ABOUT OUR NONPROFIT

Easterseals Central Texas began in 1937 as the Texas Society for Crippled Children. In 1949, a small building was dedicated as the Austin Cerebral Palsy Center serving a small population of Central Texas residents. Almost twenty years later, we became the Capital Area Rehabilitation Center, expanding our services and those served. Today, our mission is to change the way the world defines and views disabilities by making profound, positive differences in people's everyday lives.

Our services are only as effective as the quality of the people who make up our team. To achieve our mission, we strive to attract and retain talented and committed staff who believe in our cause. This is why we provide competitive compensation, great benefits, and plenty of opportunities for personal and professional growth.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Picture yourself in your new role, making magic happen for families with young children aged birth to 36 months. You're their guiding star, providing case management services in their natural environment - be it the home or the community. Collaborating closely with families, you identify routines, concerns, priorities, and resources, lighting up their path to growth and success!

Your days are filled with purpose - conducting intakes, screenings, and developmental assessments, and keeping close contact with children's physicians for vital medical info. You craft comprehensive routines-based service plans, embracing a primary service provider model that brings smiles to families' faces.

Soar high with us as you attend staff meetings, agency events, and engaging in-service trainings. Your impact is felt throughout our community, and you cherish the lives you brighten!
