Launched as part of The Fedcap Group in 2018, Families Forward offers a wide array of programs and services to help individuals achieve success in education and employment to become self-sufficient adults. WHAT YOU NEED

If you can meet the following requirements, we need you!

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to deliver specific curriculum, differentiate instruction, and lead groups
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience or a demonstrated desire to work with the economically disadvantaged, homeless, or public assistance recipients' populations
  • Ability to meet deadlines, juggle multiple priorities, and excel in a team environment

Preferred:

  • Ability to speak English and Spanish

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY IMPACT

As a vital team member, you play a key role in ensuring the success of our program. Your responsibilities include overseeing a team managing a computer lab and workshop, conducting targeted job readiness workshops, and delivering valuable job search sessions. You engage with members, supervise their computer-driven job search activities, and guide them through resume creation and tailoring. You commit to regular meetings, assessing skills and readiness, making timely referrals, and coordinating case conferences when needed.

You're sure to collaborate closely with business developers and service coordinators to connect job seekers with opportunities, facilitate the job placement process, and guide members on their career pathways to success. You work hard to ensure the accuracy and success of our members' journey toward employment, making a lasting impact on their career readiness!
