As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, your role involves seamlessly executing patient care programs under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist (OTR). You administer tests, evaluations, and intricate treatment procedures. Your commitment to established departmental procedures and safety protocols during treatment implementation is second nature to you.
Beyond the treatment room, your responsibilities include meticulous documentation of patient progress and maintaining charts according to departmental protocols. Going the extra mile, you provide patients with written or illustrated home exercise programs when applicable. You stay updated on the latest advancements in your field by actively participating in departmental meetings, in-service programs, and continuing education.
Taking ownership of departmental program development, your proactive approach contributes to making a real difference in the world of occupational therapy, embodying the essence of a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional!
