YOUR NEW ROLE AS A SPEECH THERAPIST

Immerse yourself in the dynamic world of communication as you evaluate skills like receptive and expressive language, articulation, voice, fluency, oral-motor abilities, and hearing. You craft personalized service plans aligned with program policies, delivering therapy tailored to individual communication disorder treatment plans.

You're sure to uphold professional standards as you instruct and counsel students and families. Your meticulous record-keeping, insurance authorization tracking, and program evaluations are crucial, and you also serve as a compassionate case manager, coordinating services and supervising clinical fellowship years. It fills your heart to see the difference you're able to make every day!


WHAT YOU NEED

  • Master's degree or its equivalent in speech pathology
  • Certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech/Hearing Association
  • Current state speech/language pathologist license
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

3+ years of experience working with young children as a speech/language pathologist is preferred but not required.
