YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR CAREER ADVISOR
In this Career Advisor role, you establish trust and rapport with participants, conducting comprehensive intakes and developing Family Contract Amendments (FCAs) for employment goals. Regular meetings with participants involve documenting progress and providing ongoing orientation on TANF and program requirements. Building effective partnerships with external providers, and ensuring access to necessary services and supports is key. Exceptional record-keeping is necessary, and you request support services while adhering to agency policies. Utilizing data from FedcapCARES reports, you plan tasks and proactively manage appointments. Working with targeted caseloads, representing Fedcap positively, and maintaining strong communication are integral to this employment specialist role.
