WHAT TO EXPECT

As a Job Coach, your mission is to build trust and meaningful connections with program participants. Your days involve conducting comprehensive intakes, guiding individuals to understand their unique needs, strengths, interests, and capabilities. Working closely with participants, you craft personalized service plans, known as Family Contract Amendments (FCAs), outlining short-term and long-term employment goals tailored to their aspirations.

Regular meetings with participants on your caseload allow you to document progress and provide ongoing orientation, ensuring clarity on TANF and program requirements. Collaborating with external providers, you ensure seamless access to necessary services, and your exceptional record-keeping skills in FedcapCARES capture every interaction.

As the go-to person for support services and policy adherence, you run reports in FedcapCARES, strategically planning your daily and weekly tasks. Proactively reaching out to participants who miss appointments and maintaining open lines of communication with their medical and behavioral health providers demonstrate your dedication. Specializing in targeted caseloads, such as two-parent families or individuals in higher education, enables you to provide impactful, tailored support. Your upbeat attitude creates an environment where participants feel supported, motivated, and on the path to success!
