Kikka sushi is looking for an energetic, hardworking, dependable, Food Prep / Cook that will provide great customer service in the Whole Foods Market located at: 11900 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66213.

Full Time 5 days a week with week days off (must work all Saturdays and Sundays), working 7am – 4pm (including an hour unpaid meal break).

The Food Prep / Cook will make sushi in advance and per customer's request. You don't know how to make sushi, no problem we will teach you!

The team member will also do prep work, prepare other Asian foods and maintain a clean and neat environment while helping customers in a fun, fast paced, exciting environment.

To thrive you must show up to work on time and as scheduled, have a flexible morning and evening availability, be willing to work hard (this isn't an easy job), be patient (it takes about 3 months to get comfortable with the job), must be willing to stick it out (not quit after a few days or weeks) and be able to work with multi-cultural and multi-lingual co-workers, some who barely speak English.

Pay is $15.00 per hour

Qualifications:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Must know what sushi is (hint, it's not just raw fish)
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must work all Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.

Preferred experience:

• Working in quick service restaurants, supermarkets or fast paced environments
• Food handling experience and food handler certification
