A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MAIL MANAGER
As a Mail Manager with our nonprofit, you're responsible for assisting the supervisor on duty by providing direction and work assignments to our mail clerks. You process mailings through our computerized databases and send them to our printer equipment while ensuring high-quality printing. On a daily basis, you provide electronic status reports, mailing affidavits, and other reports detailing the ongoing status of mail to our customers. You also respond to customer inquiries either over the phone, via email, or in person as well as provide direction to staff as needed.
Additionally, you maintain the general organization of our facility. You look for cost-saving initiatives and recommend process improvements to keep our facility running smoothly and efficiently. Using your exceptional leadership skills, you cross-train staff in all aspects of mail and production and serve as backup to our supervisor. As needed, you also fulfill internal and external printing requests using the Canon, Konica, Xerox, or other equipment. You enjoy having a job that uses your superb administrative and customer service skills, and you take great pride in knowing you contribute to our nonprofit in such a big way!
