A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSESSMENT COORDINATOR (TEMP)
As an Assessment Coordinator (Temp) with our nonprofit, you develop, implement, and deliver various assessments to determine current and potential barriers affecting our participants. You also identify transferable skills and experience, career aptitude, motivation, and education level. By ensuring each assessment is tailored to the individual, you use the results to develop individualized service plans that address long- and short-term goals for our participants. You work hard to establish honest and effective relationships with participants to help them reach their goals.
Additionally, you evaluate the effectiveness of each assessment and its implementation. You also conduct thorough interviews with our applicants as well as facilitate the orientation and intake processes. Using your exceptional time management skills, you ensure our participants undergo a smooth transition and short wait time for our program. You enjoy being in a position that uses your counseling expertise to make a positive impact on the lives of our participants, which is why you thrive in this case management position!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ASSESSMENT COORDINATOR (TEMP)
A bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field is preferred, but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills? Can you handle confidential information with discretion? Are you highly organized and attentive to detail? Can you effectively prioritize tasks while demonstrating good time management?
