QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED
• Driver's license and auto insurance
• Desire to work with people with developmental disabilities
• Must be within 1 hour's driving distance of all clients' homes while on call

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL COORDINATOR

Join us by working as our nonprofit's Direct Support Professional Coordinator. By being the lifeline for individuals with developmental disabilities, you become their unwavering source of at-home care and support, ensuring their every need is met. At the beginning of each shift, you swiftly arrange coverage or step in yourself, guaranteeing our clients receive the utmost care. Through "person-centered" support, you empower clients to conquer their goals and provide them with unwavering emotional assistance. Through diligently reporting to county boards and guardians, you ensure families are well-informed, establishing an open line of communication. As your shift comes to an end, a wave of fulfillment washes over you, knowing that your dedication has undeniably left a positive impact. YOUR SCHEDULE

This part-time caregiver coordinator position typically works on weekends. A typical schedule is 4:00 pm, Friday - 9:00 am, Monday. You are paid for 20 hours of work unless it is necessary to work more hours while on call.
