YOUR ROLE AS A SPEECH THERAPY SPECIALIST
As a Speech Therapy Specialist at our nonprofit, you have the opportunity to evaluate and improve the communication skills of a diverse group of clients. This may include providing therapy in a school or outpatient setting, as outlined by the individual treatment plan or individual education plan.
Additionally, you instruct and counsel clients and their families on how to best deal with their communication impairments in various speaking situations. Finally, you supervise clinical fellowship year for staff speech-language pathologists, where appropriate.
