WHO ARE WE? AN INTRODUCTION
Founded in 2009, Granite Pathways began as a grass-roots initiative that introduced the "clubhouse" model in New Hampshire. The clubhouse represents an evidence-based, self-help community aimed at eliminating isolation and providing hope, dignity, and recovery options for adults with mental illness. Today, we are a statewide, multi-faceted organization that provides an array of services for those struggling with mental health issues or substance use disorders.
Our mission is to help individuals achieve their life goals and see themselves as valued members of their community. Our services are only as effective as the quality of the people who make up our team. To achieve our mission, we strive to attract and retain talented and committed staff who believe in our cause. This is why we provide competitive compensation, great benefits, and plenty of opportunities for personal and professional growth.
WHAT DOES A PARENT AND FAMILY SERVICES PARTNER ACTUALLY DO?
As a Parent and Family Services Partner, you support parents involved in the Division for Children, Youth, and Families. You're a pro at adapting to different resources and the welfare needs of those in our community.
You collaborate with DCYF staff to ensure families' safety and well-being, whether in the DCYF office or other community locations. And the best part? You have the chance to facilitate parenting education sessions, both one-on-one and in group settings - in doing so, you help these families learn to help themselves. In addition, you handle administrative tasks, including case documentation and data entry - always protecting confidential information.
You receive comprehensive social services training to become an expert in mandated reporting, motivational interviewing, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and trauma-informed practice. In fact, within one year of hire, you become a licensed CRSW and maintain continued requirements for license renewals. You enjoy ample opportunities to develop your skills through shadowing, role-playing, and mentorship programs. As someone who thrives on making a positive impact on the lives of others, you love coming to work each day. Join our social services team today and be a part of something meaningful!
