DAY TO DAY AS A COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Are you a driven and empathetic individual looking for an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the nonprofit social services industry? As a Community Service Program Coordinator at our nonprofit, you help manage a caseload of participants. You play a critical role in developing new non-profit community service sites, finding appropriate assignments for participants, and matching them with assignments based on their individual needs.

You're also responsible for addressing any barriers to their participation as well as educating and training on-site supervisors. Your problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills are instrumental in mediating conflicts as needed. WHAT WE NEED IN A COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAM COORDINATOR

  • Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field, such as psychology, vocational rehabilitation, or occupational rehabilitation from an accredited institution
  • 2+ years of experience working with employment programs for individuals with barriers to employment or an equivalent combination of education and experience
