YOUR LIFE AS A RESIDENTIAL CARE DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (DSP)
As a DSP, your role is to provide residential care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your main objective is to enhance the quality of life of those you serve by following individual service plans. You spend most of your day assisting individuals with personal needs, such as helping with hygiene, lifting them in and out of wheelchairs, and respecting their choices and freedom.
Additionally, you work with other staff members and supervisors to provide additional support where needed. You keep yourself informed of any new concerns or issues and ensure the safety and cleanliness of the facility. Your priority is the well-being of the individuals you work with, and you take that responsibility seriously. You find your job meaningful and are happy to be a part of our team!
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred. A valid driver's license and willingness to become a company driver is necessary for some openings.
