A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN EMPLOYMENT PARTNER COORDINATOR
As an Employment Partner Coordinator with our nonprofit, you're responsible for establishing partnerships with agencies that offer internship, training, and community service opportunities that align with our program participant's goals. Based on the interests and needs of our participants, you develop diverse opportunities that include both on-site and remote work. You ensure agreements with new partners are thoroughly reviewed for completeness and accuracy according to our standard operating procedures. Each day, you track all business and partner development activity as well as provide ongoing updates to your supervisor.
In addition, you maintain internal reports and update Fedcap's internal database with new training, education, and community service partners. You conduct visits to community partners to ensure sites are complying with agreements and that services are meeting the needs of our program participants. Prior to referring participants to a site, you make sure all necessary paperwork is on file and all parties understand the agreement. Your work has a direct positive impact on the lives of our clients, and this is why you love your job in social work!
