YOUR HOURS AS A LEAD JANITOR - CUSTODIAL SUPERVISOR
This full-time position typically works a 3 x 3 rotational schedule - you'll work 3 weeks on and enjoy 3 weeks off. Rotational housing is provided!

Description of the environment: Rural school district.
Physical requirements: Employee is required to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk/hear, see, taste/smell, and carry weight/lift.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LEAD JANITOR - CUSTODIAL SUPERVISOR
As a Lead Janitor - Custodial Supervisor, you lead our team in providing cleaning services for the Nome school district. Each day, you arrive ready to work with all the necessary supplies and equipment. In addition to guiding, directing, and training staff, you also get in and do the work yourself. You communicate directly with the general manager on all matters related to janitorial services.
You provide overall leadership and direction for all of the school district janitorial staff, maintaining a regular presence in all assigned buildings. You and your team take care of areas throughout each school such as restrooms, kitchen areas, break rooms, and common public areas. Keeping spaces organized and in great condition is what makes you great for this supervisory role!
