A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SECURITY OFFICER

As a Security Officer at NMS, your day-to-day responsibilities include performing site checks, monitoring security systems, and responding to potential security breaches at the Proctor and Gamble facility and surrounding areas. You're responsible for ensuring the safety of our clients and their customers, so quick thinking and effective communication are key. This is an overnight shift, so you can expect to work a schedule that would require you to be awake during the nighttime hours. Don't worry, though – our team is supportive and we'll make sure you feel confident and prepared to handle anything that comes your way!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SECURITY OFFICER

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 2+ years of security, law enforcement, or military experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record for the past three years to be eligible under NMS' vehicle insurance policy
• Ability to cooperate and work as part of a team with fellow employees, customers, and clients
• Ability to make decisions in the moment with little to no supervision
• Ability to be on your feet for 8-12 hours per shift
• Contract requires employees to speak, understand, read, and write English.
• Must meet and adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations set forth by the company and client.
• This contract requires the implementation of COVID-19 protocols. Candidates that have been vaccinated against COVID-19, need to provide proof of vaccination. Non-vaccinated individuals are required to properly wear a mask at all times while at work.

Weather: Indoor/Outdoor. Frequently exposed to both cold and hot weather conditions.

Noise level: Moderate to loud

Description of environment: This is a public manufacturing plant environment.

Must constantly be able to stand, walk, climb, push, pull use hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and crouch.

Physical requirements: Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
