A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LOAN PROCESSOR
As a Loan Processor for Ag New Mexico Farm Credit, you have the opportunity to work closely with one or more assigned appraisers to gain an understanding of the appraisal process. You also gain an understanding of the purpose and processes involved in performing credit reviews. On a day-to-day basis, you ensure that all assigned loans are properly risk-rated, assigned loss-given defaults are correct and performance status assignments are proper. You also comply with proper credit administration practices as outlined in the association's policies and procedures. Compliance with FCBT and Association technology and security standards is also important. The Loan Processor position is a full-time or part-time position, with hours Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a 1-hour lunch. Flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the "core" work hours of 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
