YOUR DAY AS AN ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER

As our Assistant General Manager, you oversee various day-to-day operations. This includes supervising our janitorial staff, preparing work schedules, and approving payroll. With attention to detail, you complete accounting, safety, and other administrative documentation. You're a caring leader, always willing to help out with training our janitorial team.

You're responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleaning and janitorial services throughout our hospital facilities. You establish quality cleaning standards and evaluate employee performances to ensure those standards are being met. At times, you even get to travel to other units in town to provide support.

You enjoy working on a 2x2 rotation schedule, with a variety of shifts that include day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Keeping our hospital and other healthcare facilities in great shape and taking good care of our cleaning staff gives you great satisfaction!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of directly related experience that demonstrates knowledge of janitorial or related duties
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role which includes supervisory duties
• Basic skillset in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record for the past three years to be eligible under NMS' vehicle insurance policy
• Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• This contract requires COVID-19 vaccination.

Background Requirement

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Weather: Occasional exposure to harsh weather conditions; requires work to be done both inside and outside.

Noise level: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Office conditions:

Description of environment: Hospital setting. The pace of work is a medium and high volume of customer interaction.

Physical requirements: Employee is required to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. This position is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk/hear, see, taste/smell, and carry weight/lift.

Travel: This position requires travel up to 25% of the time. Employee may travel to other client units in town.
