YOUR DAY AS A LAUNDRY ATTENDANT

As a Laundry Attendant, you keep our assisted living residents well-supplied with clean linens! You wash, dry, and fold terry and linen. As needed, you inform personnel of any equipment maintenance needs. Your duties are repetitive, and you love finding your routine and getting into the groove each day. Providing this service keeps the entire assisted living cleaning team running smoothly and gives you a great sense of accomplishment!

WHAT WE NEED IN A LAUNDRY ATTENDANT

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least six (6) months of experience that demonstrates a working knowledge of cleaning equipment and general cleaning processes
  • The ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, callouts, etc
  • This contract requires employees to have the following immunizations: TB. The successful applicant must be able to provide immunization records for this and/or be willing to take the vaccination if offered the job.
  • Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.

Description of environment: This is located in an assisted living setting

Physical requirements: Employee is required to lift and/or move up to 35 lbs. Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk/hear, see, taste/smell, and carry weight/lift.

Travel: None

As part of the onboarding process for this contract, you will be required to provide proof that you are free of pulmonary tuberculosis (TB).
