YOUR LIFE AS A CLINICAL CODER
This full-time position typically works Monday - Friday. Enjoy weekends and holidays off!
As an entry-level Clinical Coder, you work in the office to ensure that all medical billing is accurately processed. You are the bridge between healthcare providers and insurance companies. It's a job you take very seriously!
Your day typically starts in the back office with a quick review of all the medical coding assignments you have for the day. You make sure that you've accurately identified the correct codes associated with the treatments that were provided. With careful attention to detail, you review everything to make sure there is no missing information. After resolving any discrepancies, you move on to the next step of the process: submitting forms to insurers for reimbursement.
By the end of the day, you've managed to get all of the medical coding assignments done and submitted, the billing paperwork processed, and the accounts receivable reviewed. You're proud of the important work that you do each and every day to make sure our patients are taken care of!
