DAY-TO-DAY

This full-time position using your teaching and education expertise works during the day

As an Early Childhood Education Assistant Manager with our human services nonprofit, you're in charge of overseeing the daily operations of our amazing childcare program. You supervise our fantastic staff, maintain the program census, ensure we have enough staff coverage, and admit or discharge children with the utmost care and attention. You're also an integral part of our social work team by making sure that children with special needs or disabilities are fully included in our program. You input all new child data and update current records, and use your wealth of knowledge in teaching and education to provide resources, referrals, and support to our classroom teachers. All of this helps to make sure that our nonprofit's services run like a well-oiled machine!

But that's not all! You also have the exciting opportunity to design and implement intergenerational programs between departments or groups. When required, you complete billing paperwork for our various funding sources, manage client statements and payments, and maintain and submit all statistics and reports required by internal and external sources. REQUIREMENTS FOR AN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION ASSISTANT MANAGER

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Certified in Infant/Child CPR, CPR, and first aid

A master's degree would be a plus. At least two years of experience working with children is preferred, but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
