A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A JANITORIAL - CUSTODIAL SUPERVISOR

As a Janitorial - Custodial Supervisor, you play an essential role in providing cleaning services at the Fairbanks airport. Each day, you arrive ready to work with all the necessary supplies and equipment. In addition to guiding, directing, and training staff, you also get in and do the work yourself. Throughout your shift, you can be found cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, or restocking.

You and your team take care of areas throughout the airport such as restrooms, kitchen areas, break rooms, and common public areas. You also remove trash and transport it to the appropriate disposal areas. Finding satisfaction in staying organized and bringing an area back to perfect condition is what makes you great for this supervisory role!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A JANITORIAL - CUSTODIAL SUPERVISOR

Minimum requirements

• High school education or GED equivalent
• At least one (1) year of directly related experience that demonstrates knowledge of cleaning equipment and general cleaning duties or supervision of employees
• The ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, callouts, etc.
• Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.

Preferred Qualifications

• A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record for the past 3 years to be eligible under NMS' vehicle insurance policy
