A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOUSEKEEPER

As a Housekeeper, you play an essential role in keeping our assisted living community sparkling. You provide a variety of housekeeping services. At any given time, you may be found removing trash, cleaning, sweeping, sanitizing, or restocking. You take care of all areas of the facility, including hallways, residents' homes, food preparation areas, and restrooms. Sometimes your help is needed with laundry as well.

You're a total team player, assisting wherever there is a need. You keep the cart and storage areas well-stocked and organized in order to maximize efficiency. While on the job, you always maintain a neat and professional appearance and keep a smile on your face when communicating with residents. You find great fulfillment in having a job that contributes to the well-being of our residents in such a big way!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A HOUSEKEEPER

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• At least six (6) months of experience that demonstrates a working knowledge of cleaning equipment and general cleaning processes
• The ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, callouts, etc
• This contract requires employees to have the following immunizations: TB. The successful applicant must be able to provide immunization records for this and/or be willing to take the vaccination if offered the job.
• Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.

Physical requirements: Employee is required to lift and/or move up to 35 lbs. Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk/hear, see, taste/smell, and carry weight/lift.

As part of the onboarding process for this contract, you will be required to provide proof that you are free of pulmonary tuberculosis (TB).
