A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A JANITOR

As a Janitor, you do a great service providing a variety of cleaning services for our assisted living community. During your shift, you can be found sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, removing trash, waxing floors, and doing general cleaning. You perform these custodial tasks throughout the center, including in bathrooms, stairways, resident rooms, food preparation areas, and offices. You've always got a spring in your step - you love keeping busy and being active!

Whether you're replenishing supplies, changing lightbulbs, or helping with laundry, you use your fine attention to detail to make sure everything is done right. You're a team player, always willing to jump in and help where needed. At the end of your shift, you bask in the sense of order you get to create each day!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A JANITOR

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• At least 6 months experience that demonstrates a working knowledge of cleaning equipment and general cleaning processes
• This contract requires employees to have the following immunizations: TB. Successful candidates must be able to provide immunization records for this and/or be willing to take the vaccination if offered the job.
• The ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, callouts, etc
• Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
