A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD SERVICE HOSTESS / DINING ATTENDANT
As a Food Service Hostess / Dining Attendant, you are vital to our mission of keeping our assisted living residents well-nourished! Every shift, you arrive and get to work helping our residents with meal selection, service, and retrieval. You can be found preparing meal trays and snacks as well as assembling trays for modified diets. You then serve food and beverages to each patient. With attention to detail, you observe and see if there are any needs. When you notice concerns, such as an individual not eating enough, you are quick to communicate those concerns to the clinical dietician.
As you serve our assisted living residents, you always have a friendly smile on your face. You enthusiastically keep our supplies stocked and our food stored properly. You also perform kitchen duties, including sanitation, set up, and completion of temperature logs. Being part of a team that makes such a difference for all our patients fills your heart with joy!

Description of environment: This is an industrial kitchen located in a healthcare setting.
Physical requirements: Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, stoop, kneel, talk/hear, see, taste/smell, and carry weight/lift. Infrequently required to sit, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
