Whether it's pitching in with dishwashing or lending a hand to servers in the dining area, you always go above and beyond to ensure that every meal meets or exceeds standards. Cooking is your passion, and working with a tight-knit senior living team does your heart good!


QUALIFICATIONS

Are you a team player? Do you take pride in cooking good food? Can you work efficiently without sacrificing quality? You might be a good fit for this role if you meet the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Preference will be given to candidates with at least six months of experience in the food service industry.
  • Must have a food handler's card or ServSafe contingent upon 30 days of hire.
  • Must have some knowledge of proper food service sanitation methods and equipment.
  • Contract requires employees to speak, understand, read, and write English.

Weather: Indoor: environmentally controlled; requires most or all work to be done inside.

Description of environment: Pioneer Home: This is an industrial kitchen located in an Assisted Living setting.

Physical requirements: Employee is required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk/hear, see taste/smell, and carry weight/lift.

As part of the onboarding process for this contract, you will be required to provide proof that you are free of pulmonary tuberculosis (TB).
