WORK SCHEDULE FOR A HOTEL HOUSEMAN / MAINTENANCE ATTENDANT

This repair position offers flexible schedule options - you can work full-time, part-time, on-call, or on a rotational schedule!

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOTEL HOUSEMAN / MAINTENANCE ATTENDANT

As a Hotel Houseman / Maintenance Attendant, you are entrusted with the important responsibility of keeping our hotel in great repair. You maintain the facility as you provide cleaning services and minor maintenance. On any given day you can be found cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, removing trash, or cleaning restrooms. You also keep different areas well-stocked, including the kitchen, laundry room, restrooms, and hallways. No matter what you're doing, you've got a smile on your face - you love keeping busy!

A true team player, you're quick to jump in and help the housekeepers and front desk team members whenever needed. You clean outside areas and remove snow/ice as necessary. You also change light bulbs and perform other light repair tasks. Every day brings something new, and you love that no two days are exactly the same. You take pride in keeping our building beautiful, safe, and in good repair for guests!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A HOTEL HOUSEMAN / MAINTENANCE ATTENDANT

Minimum Requirements

• Six (6) months of the hospitality industry or related experience which evidences some suitability for this type of work
• The ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, callouts, etc
• Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under NMS' vehicle insurance policy (may be required at some locations)
