As a Behavior Specialist - BCBA with our human services nonprofit, you're responsible for developing and implementing programs or activities designed to improve the lives of children with autism and their families. You individualize each treatment plan according to the client's unique needs to assist in enhancing their quality of life by acknowledging weaknesses to overcome and strengths to build on. Through routine communication, you encourage the client's family and friends to get involved in the client's treatment to help them maintain skills learned in therapy sessions.
