A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CLEANING ATTENDANT - JANITOR

As a Cleaning Attendant - Janitor, you keep our facility looking good. You arrive for each janitorial shift ready to get to work. You enjoy "getting in the zone" and working efficiently - the time flies while you're keeping busy. Whether it's dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, sanitizing, restocking, or other custodial work, you get great satisfaction out of checking off tasks. You can be found taking care of hallways, restrooms, break areas, offices, stairways, or other public areas.

You remove the trash and transport it to the appropriate disposal areas. As needed, you help out with laundry and light maintenance tasks like changing light bulbs. You always keep your janitorial equipment organized and in good working order. Seeing the place shine after you've come through fills you with pride!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CLEANING ATTENDANT - JANITOR

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• At least 6 months of experience that demonstrates a working knowledge of cleaning equipment and general cleaning processes
• The ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, callouts, etc.
• Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.

Preferred Qualifications

• A valid driver's license with a 3-year driving record is acceptable to the company's insurance carrier.
