This office position with our hospitality team earns a competitive salary of at least $50,000/year, based on experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HR ADMINISTRATION & ACCOUNTING CLERK

As a HR Administration & Accounting Clerk you play an essential role in supporting our office by performing a range of HR, accounting, and payroll tasks. You serve as the liaison between managers and employees regarding HR and accounting support. Every week, you process the company's payroll according to the time and labor of each employee. You assist with onboarding new hires and benefits administration, including reconciliation, auditing, and processing monthly invoices. Whenever personnel or employee relations issues arise, you respond in a timely manner and strive to provide prompt resolutions.

In addition, you coordinate recruitment activities such as posting positions, working with approved partners, and conducting initial candidate resume screening. Working alongside the hiring managers, you also help schedule the second round of interviews for potential candidates. You perform audits of current employee files to check for valid certifications and determine when classes need to be held to help employees with renewal. Some accounting tasks include daily payment processing for catered events, compiling daily, weekly, and monthly reporting. Our office is always in tip-top shape and our payroll is processed accurately with you on the job. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST/OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

  • 1+ years of experience with HR, accounting, and payroll processing tasks
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Skilled in relationship building and creating schedules
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and cross-train within your department
