YOUR LIFE AS A TRUCK DRIVER / SPECIAL EVENTS PORTER
This truck driving position with our warehouse works varying shifts when events and banquets are booked. Shifts include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays, or weekends.
As a Truck Driver / Special Events Porter with our hospitality team, you play an essential role in loading and unloading our trucks for events and banquets. The materials you transport include food, beverages, light equipment, coolers, and linens. You safely drive a truck between our warehouse and banquets to help deliver and set up materials in the back-of-house area. Working alongside the event director, you ensure all events are executed flawlessly and that silverware, plates, and glass are handled with care.
You maintain a clean work area throughout the duration of an event. Once the festivities wrap up, you carefully place items back into their proper containers and send dirty items back to rental companies to be washed. You ensure all additional items are packaged and safely returned to our warehouse. Having a job where you get to travel to new places and help our banquets run smoothly brings you great fulfillment, which is why you excel in this truck driving position!
