This banquet and event management position earns a competitive wage of $22/hour. We provide our employees with great benefits, up to 5 days of paid time off (PTO) during the first year of employment. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CATERING EVENT MANAGER
As a Catering Event Manager, you play a crucial role in ensuring that our events are planned and executed according to each client's expectations. You assign your team members to specific tasks and oversee each team to ensure that all duties are completed in a timely manner. Periodically, you check in with the head chef and kitchen staff to make sure our food production is running smoothly. Throughout the whole process, you maintain constant communication with our clients to ensure that they're satisfied.
Once an event or banquet has concluded, you provide follow-up to get client feedback. You complete all proper post-event paperwork and ensure all documents are filled out correctly. Always leading by example, you're willing to get your hands dirty and help out with any tasks that are left over due to insufficient staffing. The job can sometimes be challenging, but you show up each day with a smile on your face because you love what you do.
