This inventory management position earns a competitive salary of at least $50,000/year. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

As a Warehouse Supervisor with our hospitality team, you are responsible for overseeing the operations of our evening warehouse team and all deliveries. Each day, you communicate with your team to provide report times for the next day of business. You also communicate with the purchasing manager to ensure that supplies and beverages are maintained at par level. Whenever orders leave our building, you make sure that they're expedited as well as check for accuracy, quantity, and quality. To complete pack-outs, you ensure that your team maintains productivity and double-checks each box before they're signed off on.

In addition, you assist our events staff with loading supplies onto trucks. For full-service events, you schedule backup drivers to help complete services. When needed, you assign cleaning tasks to team members and make sure that the rooms we use for events are set back to prior standards. You also maintain our storerooms by cleaning and organizing them as well as participating in monthly inventory. Our storage areas are always secure under your watch, and you check that our equipment is in working order, requesting repairs as needed. You provide training and staff development opportunities to help your team continuously thrive in their positions. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

  • Experience in a supervisory position
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Leadership skills
