YOUR LIFE AS A QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST / DATA ANALYST

This full-time position offers a unique hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely each week, giving you the best of both worlds and adding to your work/life balance.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist / Data Analyst, you are the driving force behind ensuring that the credit unions we serve receive top-quality software solutions that meet their individual needs. You work alongside one or more of our teams to identify testing needs and opportunities. After reviewing business requirements, you write up test scripts based on your understanding of what you read. You also create test plans, cases, and scripts as well as quality assurance strategies for product releases.

In addition, you run exploratory testing and conduct analyses in order to derive insight and compare results across products. Whenever testing is complete, you accurately report your results. You also detect defects with detailed step-by-step information alongside screenshots to help us understand what went wrong. Because of your hard work, our products always run smoothly for our customers. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • 4+ years of experience in a relevant position
  • Experience using a data warehouse (DWH) as well as Selenium with JAVA or another programming language
  • SQL query writing abilities and an understanding of reading code

Knowledge about financial institutions, preferably related to credit unions or retail banking would be a plus. Experience with test batch processing and testing for data validation in data integration projects is desired. Knowledge about ETL workflows SSIS, Informatica, and cloud technologies is preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
