A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DATA MANAGEMENT ENGINEER
We could not serve our credit union customers without the work that you do each day! You develop, implement, and operate stable, scalable, low-cost solutions for sourcing data from our client's systems into our data lake, data warehouse, and end-user-facing business intelligence applications. The flow of data is your bread and butter, and you make sure everything is running smoothly.
Working with Azure cloud-based production systems, you build data solutions and migrate existing data applications for our credit union clients. You are always thorough when conducting a full technical discovery to identify pain points as well as business and technical requirements. You take ownership of the end-to-end design, development, testing, and release of key components to ensure that all of the systems you build are scalable, highly attainable, and fault-tolerant. Overall, your work provides a platform that supports data analysis, data enrichment, and data science so that we can better help the credit unions we serve. You feel great about using your expertise to fill this vital data engineering role in our company!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DATA MANAGEMENT ENGINEER
Experience with data modeling and cloud platform as a service (PaaS) databases is preferred but not required. Do you have the discretion required to work with private and sensitive personal information? Do you have exceptional communication skills?
