YOUR LIFE AS AN INJECTION MOLDING / MACHINE TECHNICIAN
As an Injection Molding / Machine Technician, you play an essential role in ensuring our products successfully make it out to our customers to keep their machines running. You set up mold and auxiliary equipment to help with the injection molding process. During production, you start up molds with set points and effectively troubleshoot any processing problems or malfunctions that arise. Once finished, you tear down equipment and put everything back in its proper place. You also help train other machine attendants to ensure that our equipment is being used correctly and our products are being made according to expectations.
In addition, you provide basic mold maintenance and ensure that your work adheres to the quality specifications for all products. Safety is of the utmost importance to you, and you take proactive measures to make sure everyone remains safe during your shift. As required, you take injection molding training courses to stay up to date on the procedures that are relevant to your job. You enjoy having a job where you get to use your skills in PLC programming to do important work for our company, which is why you excel in this manufacturing position!
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Experience with injection molding and PLC programming as well as tool and mold making would be a plus. Knowledge about lean manufacturing principles is preferred. Experience with continuous integration (CI) implementations such as Kaizen card submissions is desired but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. If you can meet these requirements and perform this mechanical job as described above, we would be happy to have you as part of our PLC programming team!
